USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 52 presents the AustinBlu Foundation with a Certificate of Appreciation

On Saturday, October 15th at the Loxahatchee River Center, the U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 52 presented a “Certificate of Appreciation” to the Austin Blu Foundation in recognition of “the Austin Blu Foundation’s generous financial efforts” in supporting the Auxiliary’s safe boating programs.

Austin’s Mother Carly Black accepted the award on behalf of the Austin Blu Foundation saying that the Foundation was grateful for the recognition of their contributions and that their work could not have been accomplished without the determined efforts of organizations like the Loxahatchee River Center and US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 52. She went on to offer her thanks on behalf of the Foundation and promised that the Foundation would continue to work tirelessly in their “efforts to help more people safely experience the majesty, beauty and power of our oceans.”

The Austin Blu Foundation is currently committed to funding classes at the Loxahatchee River Center into 2017. These “About Boating Safely” classes qualify students to receive the required Florida Boating Safety Education ID Card.
